The Independent Community Pharmacy Association Appoints a new CEO

The Independent Community Pharmacy Association (ICPA) has appointed Jackie Maimin as acting CEO of the organisation following the relocation of the previous CEO, Mark Payne, to Dubai.

Maimin, who has been in community pharmacy for over 28 years was a founding director of ICPA and the CEO or the organisation from 2012 to 2014 before leaving to pursue consultancy work for several years.

Maimin is also involved in the pharmacy industry as an EXCO member of the CWP branch of Pharmaceutical Society of South Africa (PSSA) and the South African Association of Community Pharmacies (SAACP), an elected member of the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC) and the Chairperson of the Practice Committee.

The ICPA is pleased to welcome Maimin and her wealth of experience back into the organisation and is confident that it will benefit from her knowledge and commitment to the pharmacy sector.
