    Independent community pharmacists to work with USAID to combat TB Cape Town, 15 March 2016: As Tuberculosis (TB ) Awareness Month gathers momentum in March, the Independent Community Pharmacy Association (ICPA) and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) are preparing the roll-out of a joint TB screening and treatment initiative as part of the USAID TB CARE II programme. According to USAID, TB remains one of the biggest health problems in South Africa, and accounts for almost 50% of global TB cases.
